Dr. Sarah Haller completed her PhD in Clinical and Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto. She provides both assessment and treatment services to adults.
Sarah is experienced in the assessment and treatment of adults with mood and anxiety disorders, and has a special interest in eating disorders. Her approach to therapy integrates a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
In addition, Sarah makes use of the therapy relationship to help her clients identify patterns in their interactions with her that may also be occurring with others in their lives. Sarah has been teaching yoga for over a decade and is skilled in helping clients use their breath as a tool for calming the mind and body.
Sarah’s professional background includes training experiences in inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs at Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, North York General Hospital, and Eastern Health, as well as university counselling, private practice, and community mental health settings.
Sarah is warm and empathic and holds a deep appreciation for the courage it can take to seek help and support. She brings to her sessions her mental health expertise and trust in her clients’ own wisdom of what changes they need to make in order to become their most authentic selves.
