Maura O’Keefe, MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker

Maura O’Keefe is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and holds a Masters of Social Work from The University of Toronto (2000). She has 20 years experience providing individual therapy for adults struggling with a range of mental health concerns and life stressors, including: anxiety and depression, relationship and interpersonal challenges, confidence issues, life stage transitions and grief/loss. Maura has additional training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based approaches, Interpersonal Therapy, trauma therapy, perinatal/reproductive mental health, and grief counselling.

Maura has worked as a therapist in mental health programs at The Center for Addiction and Mental Health, Women’s College Hospital, and at the Ryerson University* student counselling center. In addition, she has held clinical leadership and educator roles where she supervised therapists and social work students and developed mental health programs.

Using a person-centered and evidence-based approach, Maura prioritizes creating a warm and supportive therapeutic relationship where clients can explore their concerns and achieve the healing and change they hope to see.

Maura O’Keefe works at the Oakville Location and offers virtual services throughout Ontario.
