Dr. Susan Sprokay, C.Psych.

Clinical Psychologist & Neuropsychologist

Dr. Susan Sprokay is a clinical psychologist who completed her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. At The Therapy Centre, she provides assessment and treatment services to adults in the context of a genuine and compassionate therapist-client relationship.

Dr. Sprokay’s clinical experiences and interests involve treating individuals presenting with a variety of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, adjusting to life changes, coping with grief and loss, and helping her clients increase their understanding of the way they engage with the world and with themselves.

Dr. Sprokay draws on her training in contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy techniques, incorporating humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Techniques (CBT) to best support positive changes in her clients’ lives.

Dr. Sprokay completed her post-doctoral training at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. She has focused both her clinical and research work on aging, risk for Alzheimer’s disease, caregiver burden, and memory training. Dr. Sprokay provides training sessions to help individuals learn strategies to improve their memory and overall cognitive health.

Dr. Sprokay relocated from California to Ontario in 2017. She is registered as a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and she is concurrently licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in California.

Dr. Susan Sprokay works out of the Oakville Location and offers virtual services throughout Ontario.
