Katrina O’Donnell, M.Ed., C.Psych
Psychologist
Katrina O’Donnell is a registered psychologist currently providing counselling services to adults (18+). She completed her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Alberta and has 10 years experience working with clients of various ages in post-secondary and private practice settings.
Katrina works from a person-centred framework, focusing on building a strong, authentic, and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship. She has been described as patient, compassionate, and she likes to use humour in her work. She pulls from her training in cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and exposure and response prevention to find an approach that makes sense to and works well for each client.
She enjoys supporting and empowering people with anxiety, depression and/or mood disorders, self-esteem, stress management, trauma, and relationship issues to live the full, meaningful lives they want. She has a special interest in helping clients with social anxiety, phobias, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) reclaim their time and freedom when symptoms are negatively affecting their day to day functioning.
Katrina works at both the Oakville Location and Hamilton Location locations and offers virtual services throughout Ontario.
