Suhana Patel holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Regina and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She has experience in research, administering tests as a psychometrist, and providing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Suhana supports individuals with ADHD, victims of trauma, learning disorders, emotional difficulties, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her skills include emotional regulation, crisis counselling, and behaviour therapy. Suhana has gained professional training in Brainspotting, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), issues of human trafficking, and Hypnotherapy. Suhana is multilingual and fluent in Turkish, Gujarati, Urdu, and Hindi.
She currently works in private practices under the supervision of registered psychologists, conducting psychoeducational assessments for children, teens and adults exploring giftedness and developmental concerns such as learning disorders and ADHD.
Suhana is currently providing psychometric services for The Therapy Centre. In January 2025, in addition, she will start to provide psychotherapy services to clients.
She works out of the Oakville location and sees clients virtually across Ontario.
