Anna Kozelsky, MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker

Anna Kozelsky is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She completed her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Toronto, with a specialization in mental health.

Anna has a decade of experience in the mental health field. She currently works in private practice providing therapy to adults. Previously, Anna worked as a therapist in an accredited mental health agency providing support to youth, families and adults with complex needs. Anna has supported individuals with a range of concerns and mental health challenges, including stress, trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem issues.

Anna maintains a warm, compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to help foster a positive therapeutic alliance. She uses evidence-based modalities that include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy and mindfulness-based interventions. Anna has a keen interest in trauma and developmental trauma and has also been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy, which have been shown to be very effective in the treatment of trauma.

At the core of her work, Anna applies a trauma-informed and person-centered approach. She believes that people are the experts in their lives and works collaboratively with individuals to address their concerns and empowers them to reach their wellness goals.
