Eirini Boutakis, M.A., PhD (Candidate)

Clinical Therapist

Eirini completed her Master’s degree in Child Clinical and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Guelph and is currently completing her PhD. At The Therapy Centre, she provides psychological assessment and treatment services to children and teens.

Eirini has experience completing assessments through a university clinic and the Upper Grand District School Board. She is trained in a variety of assessment tools and has worked with culturally diverse patient populations of all ages. With respect to therapy, Eirini provides Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and incorporates aspects of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) into treatment. Eirini works with children and adolescents who are experiencing a variety of mental health concerns involving anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, OCD, ADHD, body image issues, and others. Eirini’s client-centred approach allows her to connect with clients where they are emotionally, and create a non-judgmental, emotionally safe, and genuine environment so that the client feels heard and supported.

Eirini currently works in private practice under the supervision of registered psychologists conducting assessments for children questioning giftedness and developmental concerns such as learning disorders and ADHD, as well as adults with ADHD concerns. For therapy she is supervised by Samantha Daskaluk, C. Psych.

Eirini works in person at the Oakville location and virtually across Ontario.
